Pet Obedience

Done our puppy course or want to fine tune what your dog already knows?

This is for you ;)

At ClickerTastic, several ability levels are offered. All of ClickerTastic classes are limited to 6 dogs per class, barring our Puppy Playschool which has a slightly smaller limit of 5, and our Doggy Uni classes to 7. I am extremely happy to have prospective students sit in on any of ClickerTastic classes without their dogs.

Please do not bring anything that will scare or hurt your dog to class, and ensure that they have gone to the loo/walked beforehand.

At ClickerTastic it is highly recommended that collars are used for ID purposes only and you connect your lead to a harness. Please bring lots of smelly soft food treats (about the size of a pea or smaller is lovely!) and of course at least 5 poo bags.

A NON REFUNDABLE PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE NO LATER THAN THE FIRST LESSON OF EACH INTAKE.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO DO SO YOUR PLACE WILL BE FORFFITED FOR THAT INTAKE AND WILL BE AT RISK OF BEING REPLACED BY SOMEONE WAITING. CLICKERTASTIC IS FULLY INSURED.

To move up a class (with the exception of puppy play school or other prior agreement) it is expected that you will achieve the standards set out within ClickerTastics own internal progress awards.

Progress Awards can be attempted every 4 weeks, but an attempt does not automatically mean a move up a class.

New intakes depend on the amount of demand for each level.

ADVANCED
HARDCORE

This class is the next level up from the Secondary class. Generally it is expected that our students will be over 9 months, but being younger or older will not forbid you from this class so long as you have reached the required standard!

In this class we will build on the things your both learnt in Secondary. This class has a slightly more informal feel and it is likely that attendees will use this as a practise block on a more independent basis by people who are interested in training for various dog sports for fun, but are not currently competing. Help is on hand if necessary and foundation equipment such as cones,  platforms, wobble cushions, boxes, hurdles etc

These sessions are the next level up from the College sessions. Generally it is expected that our students will be over 10 months, but being younger or older will not forbid you from this class so long as you have reached the required (HIGH!) standard and have proven you can use equipment safely and appropiate to your dog!

We will build on the things you both practised in college. It is likely that attendees will use this as a practise block on a  independent basis by people who are interested in competing or are currently competing in different dog sports. Foundation equipment such as cones,  platforms, wobble cushions, boxes, and limited agility equiptment is also on hand. This is not a structured class but rather a practise session where you and your dog can practise what ever you want. This is NOT a formal class for any sport, but rather a ideas bouncing session to share learning and teaching where I will be on hand. I forcast we will learn lots from eachother! If you are looking for formal agility classes, please let me know and I will point you in the right direction :)
